At a Glance: Yoga With Me

Yoga offers many benefits but we all come to yoga for different reasons, so it can be difficult to decide which is the perfect class and teacher for you. I’m always happy to help you choose the right class. I hope to make my classes as accessible as possible: adapting the poses, breathing techniques and meditation to each individual because I want you to get the most out of your class. I offer classes that will help you:

  • Improve mental health

  • Reduce the impact of stress

  • Improve wellbeing

and much more. Yoga is a compassionate, healing practice which encompasses both physical and mental wellbeing. If you come to one of my classes I will show you how yoga can help you feel well in body, mind and soul as well as guiding you through life’s challenges when necessary.

Your Instructor

I have been a yoga teacher for three decades, recently completing my training as a yoga therapist. Since 1989 when I took my first class, I have discovered how yoga and mindfulness can improve your life in all sorts of ways. Yoga helps us navigate between self-acceptance and self-transformation, which in turn guides us towards a more joyful life. My practice is inspired by compassionately tuning into my needs in the moment and then creating space for accepting what I cannot change and changing what I can. I have trained in pregnancy/baby/post-natal yoga, yoga for healthy lower backs and am a fully qualified Minded Yoga Therapist and Minded Institute Supervisor. I am also undertaking training to be an integrative yoga psychotherapist.
