What should I wear?
Any comfortable loose or stretchy clothing is fine. Yoga is generally practised without socks on but it is nice to bring some warm clothes etc. to put on at the end of class for the relaxation.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring your own mat and a blanket that you can use for support when sitting or in the yoga poses and to cover yourself during relaxation.
I’m not very flexible. Can I still do yoga?
Yes, yoga is for everyone. You will find that you can still still get a lot out of a yoga class even if you can’t touch your toes. Yoga is not like gymnastics, it is not about creating a very flexible body, although that may be a result of continued practice, the most important thing is to develop your awareness of your body and ultimately of yourself.
